The Sun smiles bright and fine everyday

The past does not dampen its spirits, it does not fuss

Neither does it wonder of the future ahead

Its duty is to wake and shine, and that's what it does

As the early dawn spreads its muted light

The trees, the chirping birds stirred awake

Shaken from the silence of the night before

Life on earth welcomes day break

The Sun's energy spilling forth

Capturing, enhancing each inherent essence

Basking in its reflection

We feel its power, its radiance
