AUTUMN
AUTUMN
In September when rain peters out
The autumn season sets in,
It comes as a healthy relief
In the wake of nagging rain.
The sunrise makes the morning 's grass
Glazing with its golden light,
Also, its evening sky seems attractive
In its multi-coloured sight.
The black clouds of rainy looks
Tired of raining, weary and old,
They drift across the blue sky
With their silvery-cotton head.
The glossy Moon beams light
Making the sky deep blue,
The autumnal cool breeze passes
Through trees and leaves' rustle.
Lotus glow in the crystal ponds
Looking all the day to the Sun,
Autumnal flowers and lilles also
Gaze happily at the Moon.
Autumn fills up a thrilling sensation
All over the body and the mind ,
Hence, poets of past and present
Have sung its delightful dignidad.
