Autumn Hills

Autumn Hills

As the Autumn fog rolls in on the new dew hills

The air smells of new cut grass

As I lift my arms to the side of me I feel the breeze hit me

I feel like I'm flying the wet air hitting my face with a refreshing calming tone

I hear the song birds singing and the woodpeckers pecking

I wish I could stay here forever

It is the kind of noise you would love to hear while sitting at a window sill and writing

A jocular smile appears on my cherry red lips

I have felt this content in a while

My raven hair flows in the wind like fish flowing in the calming stream of a river

I breathe in the fresh air like a new breath of life

Soothing as watching a horse trot on the street

Autumn Hills
