Under the watchful eyes of the powerful helpless stars,

It's magnificent arches

leaving fractured tales,

measly relics of an undefeatable empire.


Even Rome fell...


Vanishing into the unending indigo black sky.

Centuries of,

meaningless lives,

ubiquitous discoveries,

mundane inventions.

to form trivial words.

For vacuous minds to memorize.

But the words vanish,

much like it.

into the unending indigo black recesses.


Only called upon,

to drunkenly provide the wrong answer,

making Dionysus proud.


Even Rome fell...


It fell,

to bedtime stories,

to trivia quizzes,

to forgettable facts and dates.


If Rome fell,

and it fell,

so hard,

so fast -

what stops me?
