At The Journey's End
At The Journey's End
At the journey's end where shall I lay in rest,
Under the sunlit gardens,
Listening to the fables of my quest,
Where my weary head will dream,
I could let go the days of behind,
Upon the deserts under burning sun,
Through the north ocean,
Longing toward west,
Now, i have reached,
At the journeys end.
Never knew what heaven meant,
Upon this journeys end i see,
The dreams i had and the paths i took,
Were the only thing i had ever needed,
My feet move upon this grass,
Like a thirst satisfied.
Now, i see my way west,
Where i shall head towards my journeys end,
I long now for peaceful days,
Under someone's loving care.
The boy who had lived,
A heavy heart he had inside,
Upon this journey he went,
Now, he has come to life.
On this journeys end,
A dream has come to life,
For life's so unworthy,
This is how i feel alive.
At this journeys end,
I am calm,
Like a white dove in a flight.
At this journey's end,
I am free for once,
Touching my feet is a ocean green,
Under these palms i long with peace.
At this journey's end like a dream has come to life.
