Just 2 years back people were 

bustled and jostled

Houses were full of laughter and one could party live music

This Covid pandemic put the lives on hold 

Roads are empty, streets seem cold

People standing isolated in their windows

Birds flying freely in the sky is the only thing to stare 

Faces and expression hidden under the layers and layers 

Double masks, face shield sanitisers carry all, nothing to spare 

Let's use this time to catch an extra breath

Let's think about our health, not only wealth 

Let's appreciate what we have and nature’s beauty 

Let's make a promise not to spoil it and keep up with it as human responsibility
