Another Dawn

The morning alarm rang Dzz, Dzz, Dzz......

She sprang up and realised it was dawn,

Rubbing her eyes she gave out a loud yawn.

She tip toed out of her bed,

Chores she had to finish swarmed her head.

Ironing her clothes and taking a shower,

Ready to go to school, she gathered her will power.

As soon as she stepped into the hallway,

The rooms still dark with no one around was a give away.

Oh dear! she then realised it was her vacation,

Sleep and fun became her only intention.

Grinning ear to ear she turned gleefully,

Crept back into her bed this time wilfully.

And soon she went off Snooooooze, zzz, zzz......
