And Once Again We Parted Ways....

We met again a year later,

Felt like it was just yesterday,

When we danced to the beat together.

We greeted each other with respect,

And then just started playing what we had planned.

The year had changed, the numbers too and so did our perspective. 

But keeping everything aside, 

We soon became kids.

Fooling around the whole day playing cards,

Diving into pools, talking about Netflix,

The day ended....

Soon it was night we didn't sleep till three,

Talking about our life and all the other stuff.

Till we realized that after tomorrow we were going to meet a year later,

It was too late...

The sun had risen, the stars had disappeared, 

Are eyes wide open but none of us ready to leave the bed.

We had breakfast, had lunch and again greeted each other,

Starting the engine of our car we just thought,

"Once Again We Parted Ways".
