An Unfulfilled Wish

An Unfulfilled Wish

I feel drained when I blow my cake, no one's there even if they're there. Cause, where are you? It's raining outside as if the clouds cry out loud.

After years of bottling up, they're crying out their heart with me. Do I need to say I miss you? You were right there beside me days ago, the same day.

I'm wearing the dress that was unpacked a year ago, gifted by you. I need you beside me at my worsts cause what will I have when I lose the world.

My hands are cold, I stutter now, standing on the front door waiting for you, gazing up at the sky, even there you're shining and I see you. Hope of your returning has died, but the sparkle you left behind has filled in my chest, I don't want to spend anymore hours resulting my eyes puffed.

I love you, and that wouldn't be enough to express myself, didn't show it for years but I hope you knew. After all these years I hope you see me and what a sight would it be seeing you smile, like a heaven right in front of me.
