All For Life

I never wanted to quit

Daydreaming. 

Now that I have, 

I am in the dark.

 

Moon beams still

Melt through the window. 

Heavy lights glow inside

The profiteering rooms. 

The graveyard shift

Devours them all.

My dreamy eyes, 

Once juicy with life, 

Turn into stones;

All for life.
