Airports
Airports
Airports treasure the most unusual emotions,
Euphoria and misery, success and failure,
And most of all, escape.
Hate to leave, but love to elude,
To the place where I'd hope,
My soul could rest,
Peace or not, at least to find you.
Yes, you, for whom I'd wait,
At a thousand airport arrivals,
Or board even a million flights,
But only if you promise,
Your arms would be my home,
And your heart my biggest treasure.
