Addiction
Addiction
It all started as just for a kick,
Never knew, it would be a trick.
Parties, discos and pub I went every where,
Friends and colleagues took me there.
"It's cool buddy!" they used to say,
And many a times they made me pay.
I spent most of my salary on drinks,
Along with that, we had fish and chips.
Slowly and steadily, I became an addict,
Friends colleagues did not restrict.
I forgot my work, home and family,
Went on partying and gambling repeatedly.
Now I can't stop drinking,
I lost my job and my bank balance is sinking.
No one is here with me now,
Can't say friends and colleagues vanished how.
Here I am lying amidst the bottles,
Had no idea with this habit, life shatters.
Help me,I want to go back to my world now,
Will never touch the bottle, that's my vow.
