Mother..a soldier

You are my dear mother,

For me you are not less than a soldier.

Without any weapon or gun, 

you protected me like none.

From the time in your womb,

You cared for me.

And I know till the time of your tomb,

You will be always there for me.

You protected me from cruel claws,

when you didn't know court and laws.

When I went weak and had downfall,

You stood right behind me like a strong wall.

For those who tried to harrass me, 

You were like,"first tell me".

Without telling a word to you,

You could understand my feelings that's true.

You tried your best to give me everything, 

With you around, I missed nothing.

For you mom, I was your world,

Thank you for the love showered.

On this day O Mother,

I salute you, a brave soldier.
