Act II: The World I'll Never Know
Act II: The World I'll Never Know
Why are you running from time,
When time is running for you.
Each fate that you chose has been intertwine,
With the destiny engraved on your shoe.
One by one we're counting trees in the sky,
Drifting in mucky water we both lie.
Ravens fly between bats in the luminous sky,
My white cutters are painted all over his eye.
Midnight talking,
Broad-day walking.
Hand-in-hand summer tans,
Juggling faith with four hands.
Tangerine clouds in a sky painted with light blue,
Like the blue of your eyes in the skin I call mine.
Drowns to a rusty drink in a world of grey hue,
Beige and olive are the best you get in this shrine.
