A Sunny Day

It was a bright and sunny day,

The flowers bloomed and I watched them sway

There wasn't a single cloud in the vast blue sky,

I looked up, just as a flock of birds flew by

For hours and hours I lay in the sun,

As the hours slipped by, one by one,

As the birds chirped and the flowers swayed, 

It was a bright and sunny day.
