A Petition Against Human Error
A Petition Against Human Error
Dig me out until you have reached the core
For the coal, petroleum, platinum and gold were never enough,
And you went on to explore.
Snatch out every bit of that precious stone from these venules of “mine”,
And when the wounds aren't clotting anymore
You have the audacity to think if I am fine?
The ruthless murder of the bowers, relentlessly
While you hide amidst those concrete dwellings.
Where do you expect the wilderness to reside?
You forced them to flee!
Manipulating; moulding me to gain the monetary and luxuries of life,
Wasn’t it meant to be shared by all of the creations alike!
It is so hard to recreate what you once erase
You have become an ‘invasive species'
And I would bestow that honour upon the ‘human race'.
You have ground my heart; a vermillion hue
No more killing and blood-spilling; your payment is overdue.
I am not to be blamed if I tend to shake
You might as well term it as an ‘earthquake'.
The heat-level has surpassed my ability to endure and keep it in
You cannot stop the eruption of the lava from my womb
I rise from the creeks and gigantic mountain tops to swallow you all
You have hurt me from deep within.
A “hurry-cane” here, a drought there,
Imbecile brains still try to combat or just bear these “current affairs”.
You try to act like humans
When you are well aware that the title doesn’t
Really suit shams like you
All your attempts are fabricated; those charities and ‘trusts’
Learn to accept the bitter truth that you are only impressed by “wander-lust”.
I am not looking for any fake promises or claims
You have lost the right to call me your mother
For this is an open-ended complaint
You know, you can't find any other...
