A Perfect Mother
A Perfect Mother
Does it come out of genuine concern and no demand,
Why do we simply say 'no',
Was this, the reason why she had flourished us,
Was this, the reason why she had looked after us,
The one who kept us nine months in her womb,
I would like to believe I was worth that struggle,
Crawling on knees till walking on foot,
Surrounded by happiness and love,
Life began loving her face,
Sunshine of my day,
Moonlight of my night,
She was never a singer,
But she sang for me,
I owe to my angel mother for all that I am,
Love is our mother,
We are born from that love,
A soul so tender,
A soul so sweet,
She is my definition of miss perfect,
Somewhere in the gap of time,
I grew because of her,
The sparkle in her eyes,
The glow on her face,
She is my mother.
