A Long Wait

What a long wait

For the date to change

Full of challenges

Got to pace

Up all along the way

 

With a little care

And a few clothes to pair

As work is a priority

With rest and peace

To sleep a peaceful sleep

 

Just to write 

Makes me bright

As a promise to keep

With my self

To promote and survive

And miles and miles to go before I sleep

 

A cosy bed is winter's say

To go to bed is also a need

Hope you nurture the continued efforts

Keeping in mind

All times to find

 

Early to bed

Cosy to sleep

Dinner is over

Do go rest 

As time is a healer

Thanksgiving to you

 

Do spread the joy around

It does give a healing touch
