With sticks and torches, they stood
Staring in wonder
As a creature landed
From the moon up there.
The creature smirked
Laughing at the wild men
His advancement in science
Made him a superior being.
The men took a step closer
A snarl on their bushy lips
Attacking the creature
Until he could breathe no more.
Advanced he was than them
But a fool he was to laugh at them.
Power lay in sharing the knowledge
While destruction ruled by mocking others.
