A Gutsy Damsel
A Gutsy Damsel
I walked across the golden sand,
Leaving footsteps of my memories,
Follow me across the lands,
To Barbados island,
I walked and crossed the wavy sea,
With the wind blowing here and there,
Bringing to my face my perm-cherry hair,
The atmosphere is cloudy,
Making it difficult to see,
Being a gutsy damsel I move,
Caring less of what awaits me ahead,
I am ready to face the future with head up high,
The great reward of determination,
Is a beautiful garden,
Filled with plentiful fairy roses,
The air of peace and gratification is indeed wonderful,
Let's celebrate my victory,
For I have successfully crossed the sea,
Leaving behind my awful past,
With a jolly heart, I say,
A fresh chapter of my life is about to start,
So I've got to make it sweet,
Enjoy and learn the mystery,
For it shall become a great tale of history.
