A Feline Friend

The world was in a frenzy,

I too was going crazy

But then something entered my life.

He was grey and a tabby

His fluffy fur was a little shabby,

Peppermint was his name

And when he came

I screamed with joy

But he sprang back, annoyed

He slowly warmed up to me

And now he's a lovely cat to see!
