Happy Doctors Day!

Are the doctors happy today

Not when the COVID makes hay

People and rulers pay tribute

By their lip service, care two hoots

For the doctors' welfare, who cares

Clapping hands will just not do

Without PPE, viral threat you can’t undo.

Respect to their profession

Due to them , from us, not a concession

Pay and perks on par with their service

One may note their families too sacrifice

Like every dog has its day

Hope the doctors will have their say.
