A Desert In A Dream
A Desert In A Dream
I walk alone in the stormy desert
Blowing with its wind
And washing away the sand
That is now passing through my body
And scraping and eating away my skin
The cactus hidden beneath the sand
Drenched out all of my blood
And the creatures of bones
Where crawling for flesh
As time went by
My skin had been eaten away
And my flesh exposed
To the wicked sun
I ran until I paused for a while
Where I saw my own blood
Being bled and drying out to be black
My veins begin to scorch dry
And I found maggots on my flesh
Still the wind blew the sand
Now scraping my rotting flesh
But it seems that fate took its smile on me
I saw a golden chalice and a silver plate
I arrived just pick it up
With my almost broken self
I noticed the chalice was encrypted
With the word that said
“Ambrosia of Ichor”
And the plate was encrypted
With the word that said
“Ambrosia of Sarx”
As I hold the chalice
I saw a thick fluid
Discharging from the chalice
And the plate that I hold
Pieces of white meat began to fold
It looked very appalling
But the fragrance was appealing
So much so that I took a sip
And soon I was gulping
Then I took a bite
Which became my gulosity
Even though I replenished myself
I became greedy
And I started to fatten
Thus the fate took a frown on me
And now the creatures of bones
Finally caught up to me
Snatching away my greedy flesh
Even though the more I ate and drank
The more they ripped me apart
My agony had to process
The heal and pain all over
Eventually, I gave up hope
I let that skeletor rip me away
And I became just like them
This was my encounter with the myths
A desert in a dream
Where my mind meets its end
