No love purer than it,

what is seen in his innocent grey eyes

hidden behind those moist whiskers

wet with the infrequent drool!


Truly adorable is the wriggle

expressing pleasure from the tickle!

Warm, the cuddle

is with this richly-coated whelp!


Gloom fades away

when together at play,

Re-living childhood it feels like

growing up with this precious pooch!
