A Benign Smile
A Benign Smile
Whispering near my ears
By an aromatic wind
Of your presence just a few feet
A benign smile passed away
Through my lips .
I have waited to welcome you
With thousands of vibrant flowers
Within my bony basket of ribcage
That have dried leaving a few words
On the white paper of my mind
That bleed with tears of sadness
To wet the green meadow
Like a chilly winter night .
Oh dear
My days were musical
Like the songs of the bell of a church
But it became dull
Like the pale and faded midnight polestar of a cloudy sky .
I know
To walk on a path
We need courage and support
But without your loves
My life is a curry without pepper and salt.
