Captain Vikram Batra

Here I am presenting a real life story of captain Vikram Batra who was and is still known as the hero of the Kargil War.

Once there was a boy who was born on 9th September 1974 in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. No one knew that boy  

will make our India proud and even his family. He was born in a teachers family, doing good in studies he was also good 

at sports from an early age and won couple of competitions. 

After completing his board exam in class 12 he joined DAV collage At college, he joined the Air Wing of the  (NCC)  after many 

challenges he faced and did his best in everything, he was even selected and took part in the Republic Day Parade as an NCC cadent.

After coming back he told to his parents that he wants to join in the army and by his coincidence even in maternal grandfather was also a soldier in the Indian Army. During those days he even met Dimple Cheenma and then their beautiful story starred and it that story of his personal life he did not forget his career 

Batra joined the Indian Military Academy (IMA) at Dehradun, he completed his training over there, between his all going he even talked his parents and well as Dimple Cheema   

Batra last came home on leave from the army in 1999, during the Holi festival for a few days. 

After he returned back he joined battalion in Sopore. Going through the war and fighting, because of the outbreak of the war, its deployment orders were changed and the battalion received orders to move to Dras. He informed his family and told not worry and he would call them in ten day at least once. The last phone call he made was on 29 June 1999. This was the last time that Batra spoke to his mother. 

During that time he even rose the rank of captain.

After reaching Dras his real war started he did his best in the Kargil War, he captured the point of 5140,4875

Over there he saw that one of his men was injured and the terrorist was about to attack him so he came in between and he died saving his team member. After succeeding in the kargil war he left the world.

We must salute him for what he did how he did his best in the war. 

He was awarded by the Param Vir Chakra India's highest military honor on 15 August 1999, the 52nd anniversary of India's independence. 

This was the real life story of Captain Vikram Batra and the one who is known as the real hero of the Kargil war. 

And we should learn from him the way he never left hope even though many people said he could not became a army, but despite all the 

things which he faced he did his best showed to all that what he can do
