Dying Dreams

Dying Dreams

A dream! Oh! It was a dream.

But those meaningful lines?

Why does it make a lot of sense to me?

As if I got the mantra of perfection.

Everything seems so real at that moment when he came out of nowhere and with greeting each other we comfortably seated on chairs facing each-other & were having a light-casual-talk. Both of us were smiling. It was day or noon time. He was bare-chested, in his Dhoti, had stretched both his legs in front, 1 ankle over the other & was using hand-gestures. Also, there was some other 3rd-person present there in the room seated next to us & was listening to us, but never interfered in the talk. From what I gather now, I can say the 3rd person’s-presence was not important (& I do not remember who it was). As I see the calm old man I started throwing bundles of questions over him. One by one asked him the things he has experienced throughout his lifetime. All I wanted to know is the truth about life.

At first I asked him the true meaning of happiness and in return he said "Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in #harmony."

Hmm.

Then I asked hey old man please explain what is the difference between weak and strong. For Which he calmly put the following words "The weak can never forgive.#Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."

Then I asked don't you fear growing old? What is it that let you live so long. With a Devine smile on his lips he said, "Where there is love there is life."

So from where you get the strength to love like this?

"#Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will." He said politely.

And again said oh! Young man, 'In a gentle way, you can shake the world.'

Then I asked what is it that I should care about most?

He said, "#Faith, You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty."

By clearly all my doubts one by one I asked the old man about his identity and why doesn't he come to everyone's place like the way he jumped into my house which he describes as, "I will not let anyone walk through my #mind with their dirty feet."

Okay! This is so confusing so I asked him about the identity of the third person sitting in between us. Listening to this he vanished away by saying the following sentence.

"The future depends on what we do in the #present."

Next moment I woke up realising that all the things I went through was just a dying dream. But those meaningful lines? Why does it make a lot of sense to me? As if I got the mantra of perfection.

With an urge to know whose quotations resembles to the words I heard in my dream. I Googled it. Seeing the name in capital bold alphabet that flashed on my fourteen inch liquid crystal display my jaw dropped out in shock.
