The Beautiful World

The tall trees surrounded me

Providing me shade to cool down

The sight of luscious greenery and beautiful species

Filled my heart with pride to be a part of this world

The sound of children laughing, as they were playing outside

Felt as refreshing as a cup of tea

The fresh air gently swept off my face

Making me think of its elegance again and again

And everyone was talking to each other friendly

This was how it used to be when I was a kid

But in today’s reality, there are hardly any trees or parks

The mankind killed the plants and animals only for their selfish needs

And today’s generations spend more time on technology

Rather than going out and enjoying themselves along with others

The factories and vehicles polluted the clean air

Causing illnesses to the public

And when all this is happening

The busy people, always in their own world, don’t even care!

The world might still have many more years to live

But it can easily get destroyed in a very short time

Only because of our needs and deeds

Use the technology wisely, and respect the nature

Communicate with other people, and give them company

Together make the world a better place
