Blackboard

One day everything will change,

The blackboard in my brain will be wiped out into a clean slate,

Now I'll be able to write down new memories

That will bring me tears of joy instead of tears of pain.

Till then I'll bear this sad symphony on my bruised shoulder.

And take up my own smile and

Bury it deep down so that none can snatch it away.
