Played with different elan

Food goes down soon

Only if he's allowed to swipe

Mobile screen to arrive

At his favourite nursery rhymes

She'd open her mouth

Only with pictorial books

Aren't they the same?

Except for that technology 

Has marched ahead

And instead of books 

Are on mobiles hooked

Mother and son chip of the old block

Grandparents are perforce 

To keep up with these kiddos

Net freaks while still babies

What is in store tomorrow?

Right now it's so amusing

Watching their every move

Duplication of yesteryears 

Albeit with a little difference
