Doormate
Doormate
This is about women who are sometime mistaken with a doormate
They are human too they too have feelings
Respect them too
The Doormate
I lay on the ground
Glancing all around
You just walked over me
That is all I could see
I "welcome" you into my home
And never asked where are you from
I'll never ask anything in return
Accept a visit once in a turn
Scuffs and scratches are over my back
Where your shoes left their track
You may throw me as trash you told
'Cos yes I have been so time old
Like others I too wished to be a red carpet
But indeed I am happy to be a "DOORMATE"
