The Uncertain Tale
The Uncertain Tale
I saw her first between all the pretentious people,
Never knew that it was the beginning of a tale.
My heart pumped a little more and slept a little less,
Never knew how the feelings would sail.
Love was not the reason I consoled everytime,
Never knew my thoughts could fail.
Love it was, though I discovered a bit late.
Confessing required guts, though I didn't have any,
Took my time, and the love grew many.
What a day it was. What a moment it was,
Never knew I too could be loved as much as any.
She was mine and I was hers,
We promised to never get disperse.
Times changed, people changed,
Love disappeared and was never found.
Still today, she holds a special place in my life,
I just spend everyday hoping she does fine.
Now the heart beats a little less or not at all,
Because it knows that winter would never fall.
I saw laughters of many, but smiles of a few,
But no one's smile is as good as you.
I found the support of many, but the care of a few,
But no one's love as sober as you.
