Dreams

I longed to reach out,

And hold the wispy clouds in my hands,

And touch the cool water that never stands.

I longed to reach out,

And feel the velvet leaves of the lovely trees,

And conquer the world, Oh Lord Please!

I longed to see my dreams fulfilled.

From where I stood,

As many Piscean’s would,

Not a step backward was I willing to take,

A step forward would have made me feel great,

I let chances pass me by.

Every now and then they say me ‘Bye Bye’,

And I stand today, rooted to the spot,

But this was not what I had thought,

I still remain, where I started out,

I did just long to reach out.
