I Miss You, I Need You

How lonely I feel in this selfish world;

Betrayals barging in along with hurt,

Don't know how to see with my vision blurred.

If only I was strong enough......

If only I wasn't weak... like prey caught in the hunter's beak.

If only you knew.......how much I miss you,

How much I need you.

Tears threaten to fall from my red-blooded eyes;

Mind rewinding all the hearty lies,

With no power in my veins, I now stand on this deadly stair.

One-step and I am gone......but something is holding me on.

Keeping me from going all away...

Keeping me from being the same....

Keeping me from saying.... that I miss you, that I need you.

With passing time and healing heart,

I may feel relieved, I may feel revived

But that burning hole you made...

Will never be forgotten, will never be erased.

I may start anew,

I may forget the past and.....
