Cells that metamorphose

and change for ever

Forgetting to train the old

while not welcoming the new

Illusions of dreams

And pulls of the mind

Mind pulling the body down

Body failing itself

The spirit is gone

Fight lost

Like a walk into the deep sea

to reach the sunset

and sinking to the dark ocean bed

Or a free fall from the tower

He is the cancer patient

waiting for the call

The clocks have stopped

People gone still

Time running out

And with the siren ringing hard

One last trip

Down memory lane
