Yellow-bleeding Heart
Yellow-bleeding Heart
As the wind flows swiftly
The yellow leaf gently touch
It's red love hanging on the branch
Beholders stand in awe
Staring at their love
They smile at each other
Feel each other
And enjoy the presence as the light spreads
With the dusk, they go dark
Fastening their beat for the sun to spark
They dance
Rejoice, sing their rhythm of love
As the rain drops touches them gently
And drench them,
slowly rubbing down their body
Wait was always for the dawn to come
One morning
They saw others leaving
Baffled, shocked and unaware they were
Autumn had arrived!
And so their fear rose
As they realised the fate was tossing up
They were the last to fall
Dead yet lie so close
As if nature failed to separate
The unshaken bond of love
Between the leaf and the 'bleeding heart'...
