Twenty Something
Twenty Something
She isn't the same girl
That she was in her teens
Nor the little kid
That fancied
Princesses and queens.
Old enough to plan out
How her life should be
Yet young enough to let go
And just let the things be
She's still a little crazy
Sometimes laughing at her own jokes
And on the same night
She'll cry losing all her hopes
There's a galaxy of thoughts
All chaos in her mind
In the twinkling stars of which peace
She has learned to find
She has learned not all the people
Are always going to stay
But also the true ones
Will find a way
There are times she has got lost
In the faint evening hue
And the times when she's strong enough
To make every dream come true
That is what it's all about
Confusion and uncertainty
By being a little insane
Finding her way to sanity
It is a blissful ride of laughter, joy,
Tears, pain and everything
Crazy-crazy, yet beautiful but the devil inside to fight for justice
This age is called twenty-something.....
