ଶାରଦର ଅପରାହ୍ନ

ଆକାଶ ବି ମେଘାଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ

ଚାରିଆଡେ ଶୂନ୍ ଶାନ଼,

ତମାମ ସହରରେ ବିରାଜୁଛି

ଅହେତୁକ ନୀରବତା ।

ଦେବୀଙ୍କ ବିସର୍ଜନରେ

ହୃଦୟରେ ଵେପଥୁର ଭାବ

ଥୁଣ୍ଟା ଗଛ ପରି ବିତିବ ଜୀବନ

ଏଇ ମାତ୍ର ଅବଶୋଷ

ଶାରଦ ଲଗ୍ନର ।
