Why?

I was sleeping in my room peacefully until I heard someone sobbing downstairs. I kept twisting and turning, waiting for the sound to fade away but it kept on increasing. I shouted for my mom but I guess she wasn't home. I called dad but he didn't answer too. At last, I got up and went down stairs only to see my mom and dad holding each other and crying. But why am I lying down on the floor with a white cloth covered around me?!
