When You Love Someone

He watched her as she practically sat on the floor looking frantically in a bag. He wondered what was she searching for so frantically.

He could only see a mess of orange brown curls from where he stood. She obviously hadn't combed them. From where he saw her, she looked beautiful to him. He didn't see her face but he already knew that he loved her.

She was engrossed in her search and didn't seem to acknowledge his presence at all. Thing was that she felt as if she hadn't had a bite to eat for an entire day. She knew there was something to eat in there..ah... there it was.

He noticed she found a piece of cake wrapped in paper and saw her gulp it down. He heard that when you love someone everything and anything they do seems adorable. How can anyone find someone eating a piece of cake adorable? But he did! He found everything about her adorable.

She suddenly paused, sensing that someone was watching her. She turned and looked at him with her big brown eyes. He thought they were the loveliest eyes he ever saw with the light making them blaze with a golden warm glow. He wondered if he should approach her or should he hold back and wait for her to come to him.

He decided on the latter option and opened his arms wide. If she didn't come to him now, he would feel rather silly. It was up to her now.

She just looked at him and didn't move.

Then he said happily, " Come to Papa little Ginger!", and the beautiful brown collie jumped into his arms and licked his face.

"Come on, let's get some dinner to eat. Looks like you've been hungry all day!"

"Woof! Woof!" Ginger barked in agreement.
