War of emotions

Anchal and Riddhima have grown up after the death of their parents in Sabharwal house. While Anchal is a beautiful fashionista, Riddhima is a studious and geeky girl who engrosses herself mainly in studies. Anchal is studying mass communication in the college while Riddhima also manages to get admission in the same college for Software Engineering course like her parents. Vaibhav who is in same batch as Anchal recently had his breakup and is having a crush on her. He is trying to pursue Anchal but she thinks he is not a match for her. Anchal threatens Riddhima not to reveal to anyone that she is her sister. But situations happen such that Vaibhav comes to know of the truth. He promises not to reveal it to anyone as he understands it will make things awkward for them. This impresses Anchal and she develops soft corner for him. On the other hand Riddhima who has always been the one who sacrificed and accommodated others happiness and soon Vaibhav realizes this quality of hers and starts to develop feelings for her. Riddhima who is aware of Anchal's feelings for Vaibhav did favors and helps to him for Anchal while Vaibhav misunderstood them as romantic feelings. He soon realizes this and proposes Riddhima on cultural day in the college. But Riddhima rejects him and also berates him for playing with her sister's feelings. She insists that she doesn't feel anything for him and her main focus is only her career. Vaibhav doesn't take her rejection sportingly but decides to let go so that he doesn't have to face insult in college.

3 years Later

Riddhima is now working in a top technology company while Anchal is about to get married in an arranged marriage setup. During one of the meets in her office Riddhima encounters Vaibhav and comes to know that he is the son of the owner of the partner company that is he is indirectly the owner of the company. They greet each other with awkwardness and the same continues. The same evening Vaibhav comes to know that Anchal is fiance of Kushagra who is the senior of Riddhima in her team. His feelings for Riddhima are still not overcome and he thinks that now he can pursue her again. This makes him obsessed as he is still unable to digest her rejection. preparations of Anchal and Kushagra to get close to Riddhima but Anchal tries to make him jealous thinking he would regret rejecting her. But when Vaibhav proposes Riddhima again Anchal overhears the conversation and feels betrayed that her own sister never told her the truth. Riddhima goes behind her and convinces her that she doesn't love Vaibhav and she hid the truth only to not loose her sister. Anchal is convinced but in her heart a hope again arises that she can pursue Vaibhav. Vaibhav who is still trying odd and unethical ways to pursue Riddhima gets a challenge in the form of Prateek who is the wedding planner and soon becomes a saviour for Riddhima. Anchal breaks her marriage and goes to Vaibhav to again propose him and this time he accepts her proposal only to make Riddhima jealous and also manipulate her that he will destroy the life of Anchal if she doesn't agree to his love. A distraught Riddhima finds a support system in Prateek who helps her in the tough time but they somehow fail to stop Anchal and Vaibhav's marriage.

Riddhima in her anger blames Prateek and the two break their friendship. Prateek who still feels and cares for Riddhima, wants to protect her. Hence he turns to her house as an event organiser for a Pooja kept by her daadi. Riddhima still remains cold towards him and tries to keep him away from her but he still tries to ease her pain. On the other hand Vaibhav who is faking his love for Anchal, soon get Riddhima transferred in his department. He again starts harassing and threatening her and manages to make Prateek believe that Riddhima loves him. Prateek decides to go away from her to Lucknow but Riddhima reaches just in time on the airport and stops him by confessing her love. They happily embrace the moment and decide to get married. In an unexpected turn Prateek decides to stay at Riddhima's house after marriage so that she can take care of daadi. Soon Anchal gets to know that Vaibhav doesn't love her but he loves Riddhima. She is shattered but somehow Vaibhav manipulates her to stay and also makes her believe that it is Riddhima who is eyeing him. Thus Anchal starts hating Riddhima and Vaibhav manages to pit the two sisters against each other. Anchal starts plotting against Riddhima and becomes a villain in her life.
