Ayaana always felt like breaking the box to such things. As a social worker and a thinker and researcher, she would keep breaking "implied" Assumptions because her ideology was why assume unless specifically told? People believe we aren't supposed to bridge the gap, walk the bridge to banish social customs because that's what the society believes.

A love marriage between a Hindu and a Muslim results into so many objections and disgrace. Being into one such marriage herself, she can say this from her personal experience. That is why she has made it a point in life, to help break such social beliefs an stand for such people. Working with organizations and NGOs and help groups, she dedicates her life to such things!
