In a dense forest, there lived a crow and a cow. They were close to each other and such close friends that other animals in the forest exemplified them regarding friendship. All the birds and animals were proudly flattering them.

But the crow and the cow used to simply listen to the flattery and only did what suited them. They used to meet every day near the riverside.

Once, a leopard came wandering from the nearest forest. Its mouth began to water looking at the cow, which was grazing along the riverside, and it approached the cow, wanting to eat it badly. It was very cruel and cunning.

On seeing the leopard, the cow got scared. The cunning leopard began to think of a plan in a successive way by introducing itself and telling the cow to become friends.

The cow did not understand what to say and stood in silence. After some time, the cow accepted to be friends with the leopard. The leopard left that place thinking that it had won and the cow would soon fall as its prey.

The crow was silently absorbing the discussion between the cow and the leopard and it came flying towards the cow and said, "How can you accept him as your friend?" The crow said to the cow, "You are innocent, and the leopard is playing a game with you. I think he is making a plan to eat you." The cow said, "Don't think in the wrong way. Just like you are a friend to me, he is also the same."

The crow kept silent for a while and thought, 'Oh my friend! Now you are in danger in the evil leopard's plan.'

Thinking of it, the crow left that place and did not stop following and helping the cow.

One day, the crow observed the cunning leopard's behaviour. It observed how he became friendly with other animals and led them into traps set by hunters. The hunters would ki

ll the animals and give some parts to the cunning leopard. After observing everything, the crow came to the cow and told it about the incident.

So, the crow said to the cow, "That leopard may come to you anytime to take you to a trap set by the hunter."

The next day, the leopard came and said to the cow that he knew a place where there was plenty of fields for it to graze. The cow asked, "Where is it? I can go tomorrow to graze." Then the leopard directed the location of the field and said, "Go there tomorrow." After the leopard moved, the crow came flying and said to the cow, "You go to the location where the leopard told you to graze but don't worry my dear friend, I am here to help you." So, the crow flew over, searching for a way to help its friend, the cow.

The crow went to the forest and told its other friends about the cow. All the other animals were ready to come forward to help the cow and planned to teach a lesson to the leopard.

The next day, the cow went to graze in the field and saw the leopard there, who was very happy thinking that it would get meat to eat. The cow asked the leopard, "Why are you so happy today?" The leopard said, "Today, I will get your meat. The hunter will throw his net." The cow said, "Leopard, you are a cheater. I never thought you were so cunning."

The crow came near the cow and said, "I told you not to be friends with him." The cow said to the crow, "I should have listened to you. The leopard is a cheater." So, the crow said, "Okay, fine."

Before the hunter reached the spot, the crow made a sound and called all the friends, and they chased the leopard away.

The cow was very happy and thankful as its friend, the crow, had saved its life.

Both the crow and the cow lived happily ever after.
