Tooth Fairy

Living in a box was nothing unusual for them at all. It is their house so they do not find it awkward at all. Being the teeny tiny ones of all living beings they were really happy about having a place of their own. A permanent address to their nomadic life. They were called Triggers. If they ever came in contact with a human or any being other than their community a kind of electric shock would be felt in the latter's body. Triggers were little cute beings similar to that of human babies only that they were much much much smaller than those.

They lived a nomadic life ever since they know of their existence but once they learned their importance they decided to settle in a single place. Their elders told them that their purpose now was to target humans & make them believe in magic again. So, they choose to live nearby human settlements. After years of trial & error, they finally have their rule book/ to do book ready. All they had to do was first to make the young kids of their targets see magic & make them curious about it. They started their job immediately & were glad to see change. But they knew that this surely is not so easy as it is looking, they were prepared for worse.

One day when they were picking up the tooth of a kid who believed that the tooth fairy is going to surprise him they got into trouble. The kid had tied the tooth packet to his finger & had an unexpectedly firm grip on it. While the eldest trigger as per tradition was trying to take the tooth away he unknowingly rather unluckily hurt the kid's finger. The next morning the kid was really upset that the tooth fairy gave him a gift as it did to all but also hurt him. The kid took this as punishment & shared this incident with his little sister. Soon the fire spread like water all over the place. Each & every kid somehow was now scared to be visited by the tooth fairy- Triggers.

This incident made a very big change in the life of Triggers & hence they had to leave that place & start their nomadic life again. The elders had to let this cool down until they start doing this again & since they lived longer than humans ever did they knew that there will be the next chance. They choose to wait till then.
