The Unusual Piece of Homework - Part 1

Ring! Ring! Sang the bell sweetly at Chirpmans Middle School. Everyone got up in a hurry eager to go home and get out of school. But before they could get out their teacher dropped the bomb on them. Homework!!!

Everyone moaned loudly, nonetheless, the teacher still went around and distributed it. Furthermore asked them to hand it in by tomorrow. Instead of playing games or watch television, they would have to do homework.

Everyone went home angry and still played video games despite the deadline being the day after. So at 9 o clock in the night every single student big or small, tall or short, strong or weak started to do their homework. At this time something interesting happened, the homework started smelling like different things. Most made the kids want to puke, they all tried to stick through it. However eventually all of them gave up and hit the hay. 

The next day when all of them went to school the teacher demanded for their homework. But the look on their faces gave it away. 

"What happened this time?", she asked.

"The dog ate it? ", she asked 

"Or did the moon rip it? ", she asked the class. 

"Neither of those happened Ms. Piddlingtin.", said Jeremy a student in the class.

"The homework smelled like trash and it kept on changing smell", said Jeremy

The rest nodded in agreement. "Really", she said. Then she asked to smell the homework. However when she smelled it the smell had dissipated. Where is it she demanded furiously. Then she proceeded to ask every child to smell it and tell her want they though. All of them said there was no smell, but were confused and what happened. 

Angry Ms. Piddlingtin took them to the principal's office...
