The Magic Pot

Prabhu is walking down the street with a bunch of pots on his cycle to fetch water, his mother had been scolding him to do so from the night before as he is very lazy to cycle and go the distance before he was lazy to walk and pleaded his father to buy him a cycle but when he got cycle says it's difficult for him to paddle and now wants a bike!

Prabhu, as usual, is cycling but to take shortcuts is going through small lanes and suddenly sees a small boy going with his broken leg but Prabhu instead of helping him, ignores him and goes away! Prabhu used to please god to help him get rich or at least have all the basic necessities!

Prabhu reached the water tap but had to wait in a queue,he was bored and then he saw a old lady pleading her to leave her before him,he was rude and didn't leave,Prabhu remembered his grandmother and left her before him,suddenly Prabhu's behaviour changed,the old lady blessed him,he took his water and on the way saw a plant which was dry and about to die,he tried to ignore it but he got down his cycle and from one his pot poured water to the plants and to his astonishment the plant bloomed with flowers and fruits,one apple came to his hand and it was like magic,he ate it and it was the sweetest apple he ever had and he moved,he felt as if the plant blessed him,on the way he saw a lady crying,he went and approached her and asked her,and she said she needs somebody to break wood for her so that she can cook food,he went and did so and helped the lady and the lady also blessed him,he now wanted to go home without helping anyone and he cycled on the way,he saw a foreigner asking water and but nobody agreed to give him and he remembered athithi devo bhava and without wanting to give water,he gave water thinking about his country and its culture,he moved and only three pots of water was left and he wanted to take them home with him so that his mother doesn't scold him but on the way he again so that handicapped boy with amny water pots and thought of helping him and gave the water and now he had only one pot of water,he knew his mother would scold him and so he went under the tree and sat and saw the pot,he was sad as he couldn't go back to fill the pots again as the water tap gives water for a fixed time and it was very late now,he closed his eyes holding the water pit and said I wish all the pits was filled,after few minutes he thought of going home and apologising,but he saw all the water pots were filled,he couldn't believe and was shouting with happiness,he went home and told this to his mother but she didn't believe and thought it as a prank,he again held the water pot and said he wants a bike and took few drops of water and sprinkled on his cycle,he thought it would change but then it didn't,after few minutes he heard his aunt is gifting him her son's old bike and he was astonished and happy again,he cycled with his pot and again saw the boy and said he wants this boy to walk like normal but nothing changed,he moved and saw the lady who he helped to get fire wood and said that he wishes the lady to get a gas stove at home but nothing happened he thought it was fluke about the magic he thought and went home and kept the pot,his mother was complaining about him only doing work and lack of food at home and all empty containers in the kitchen,she wished that Prabhu would get a job so that her house is never lacking of food or basic necessities and poured the water on plants and god,Next day Prabhu again cycling went to fetch water but saw the hoy was walking normally and couldn't believe on his eyes but was happy and then went to the lady and asked to help her but she said she had been gifted a stove yesterday by her neighbour and he was surprised,he went to the water tap and saw the queue and fetched water and returned,he heard that the containers in their kitchen were full of food and her mother was very surprised as it was empty the previous night,she also informed about his uncle offering him a job,Prabhu and his parents were shocked and new the pot was magical and hence they thanked it for alm that they recieved and knew that the pot was magical because Prabhu offered a helping hand to all the needy without being selfish and not thinking about him,hence it was all the blessings that made the pot magical.
