The Future
The Future
One night, Anne asked her mom “when will I learn to write stories?”
Her mom said laughing “little one, you are still five; you have just learned to write, then you’ll write words; sentences and at last stories…"
With this, her mother put her to sleep. Anne’s mother had told her a lot about different authors, different types of stories and many other things that took her in the world of imaginations. She was a doctor and an author by profession. Her husband, Anne’s father was a bank officer. He was a strict father but always loving. This nuclear family of three lived in a small town in Auckland, New Zealand.
Years flew by. Anne was no longer a little girl with the thirst of becoming a successful author. Now she was a stylish girl of seven; more interested in Barbie dolls. She didn’t pay attention in school and was never worried about any study subject.
WAS THIS THE FUTURE OF ANNE?
