The Falsely Accused

Once there was a Fisherman who lived in the village of Nagapattinam In Tamil Nadu. It was a small village where the main occupation was fishing as it was near the coast his name was Krishnan Iyer And he was honest, hard-working and trustworthy. He was a middle-aged tall man who had no family and lived alone in a small cottage. He was a good-natured man and had a lot of friends and was loved by his neighbors.

One day someone came to Krishnan's house when he opened the gate he saw that a man wearing extremely well clothes came in saying 'excuse me'. The man looked extremely rich as he wore a watch with small solitaire diamonds. He held a briefcase on which it was written - ' The Fisherz Pvt ltd.' which he gave to Krishnan. Krishnan, as he took the briefcase, identified that he was the manager from his boss's rival company. As expected the man offered him a job in his company as an assistant manager with double the salary he got. “I have been working for many years for Mr. Murli and he is a good man and has always taken care of me like his family, so I can’t stop working for him.“ said Krishnan. The man said,” you will regret your decision someday”. Saying this he left the place in a firm march. Krishnan's compatriot who was a co-worker got to know about this matter and soon he paced towards the boss and overpitched the whole situation to the boss.

Mr. Murli got angry and he called Krishnan To his house. He dismissed him from the job. Mr. Murli said, “Krishnan, you are a liar. I have done So much for you but still, you are not loyal to me. I don’t want people who are dishonest to work for me. Leave my company now and never come back.“

Krishnan was crestfallen as he moved about and in a park nearby, he sat down on a bench mournfully. He couldn't tell the truth to his boss as he had no words after listening to such an allegation. He had no other means of earning as he didn't want to disrespect his boss by joining the other company. He thought of the idea that he should get his own boat and he should then catch the big fishes and make money. One day he came to know that tsunami will come and hit the sea coast. So he decided not to sail that day. He thought to inform his old company’s boss Mr. Murli and he tried to do tell but he wasn't even allowed to meet him. But that day Mr. Murli’s fishermen went sailing. A man on the main cost-control panel was the friend of Krishnan and he explained about the tsunami to him. Krishnan told his friends from Mr. Murli‘s company about tsunami and told them to not to sail that day and to go to safe places away from coast.

Mr. Murli Got the news about the tsunami and he was very sad. But when he came to know that his boats were safe due to Krishna's cleverness, He called Krishnan in his office and started appreciating him. He requested him to join his company back with 20% more salary. Mr. Murli said, “ I am sorry Krishnan to falsely accuse you and I am thankful that you still helped us.”The fishermen Krishnan was very happy to hear this news and he joined his boss again the next day.
