The Day Of My Uncle's Examinat

My uncle works in an automobile. I was a student of class10 and preparing for the board exam. I was taking tuition from my uncle. Daily he tells us an inspirational story so that we could inspire and be focus on our studies. One day he told a story about the presence of mind. He said," I was of 20yrs old. I went to college to give an exam but I didn't learn anything. I had not even opened the book to being prepared for the exam. Let's see what will happen." I asked," If you didn't know anything then how you passed the exam?"

Then he said," I was sitting on a bench and opened my book so that at least I could read the heading of the topics".He continued," I was looking like a smart boy. I wore a blazer and a rectangle-shaped glass. Everyone was looking at me and thinking that I am a smart boy and know everything but the truth was something else." We were listening to his story like a small child. We asked him," What happened next?" He said," A man came towards me and asked for help for her daughter. Actually like everyone he also thought that I know everything. Then the man said," My daughter knows everything but if she gets stuck anywhere then please help her."

I asked my uncle," If you didn't know anything then you should have told him."

He said," This was the opportunity I had to take advantage of. What I did is that during exam time she was sitting beside me. Three questions were asked in the exam. I knew only the answer to the first question. So I had written the answer to that question very neatly with good handwriting but I didn't know the answers to the remaining two questions." I said," Since you didn't know anything, you had left that questions."

He said, "No." I asked," Then what you did?"

He replied," I asked that girl whether she had written all the answers or not." She said, "yes." I told her, " tell me the answer to the second question and let me check whether your answer is correct or not." She told me the answer and I wrote it in my paper. I have written all the things that she said. And similarly, I wrote the answer to the 3rd question. After a few days, the result came and you will be surprised to know that only me and that girl have passed the examination.

I was very much happy. But a person was happier than me and he was her father to whom I met in college. He told that only because of me, she passed the exam. Since I and that girl passed the exam, her father invited me for dinner and also thanked me.

After a pause, again he said, "So in this way, we can handle the situation and take its advantages. This is called the presence of mind."

I said, "Wow uncle; it was a very nice story."
