The Clever Mind

One day a kind gentleman had two precious and priceless diamond. He wanted to sell hose to the king but the guards didn't allow him. They were greedy and told that whatever gift you want from the king you have to give me half of it. Then he said it's fine.

Then he entered the palace and placed the diamond in front of the king. The king loved them very much and told the man that whatever you want in return for diamond I will give you. The man was very clever and said to tell the king that in return of those he wants hundred whips. Then the king and other people of the palace were surprised. The king said that he will give gold and silver coins. Why you want hundred whips?

My lord when I was entering your palace your guards told me that whatever I will get in return of diamond I should share half of it with them. So the king knew the reality of the guards and advised to call them. He became very angry and gave all the whips to them and hundred gold coins to the man.
